Bauer Full Response

In Amory Lovins’s second period questioning the FAA’s regional manager John Bauer in front of the Board of County Commissioners, Mr. Bauer says the FAA won’t take away our airport’s Modification of Standard (which allows it to operate safely with planes up to 95 feet in wingspan), and it is the County’s choice whether to keep it that way in return for losing discretionary grants. Context and transcript are linked here. This passage starts at 2:42.51, and Lovins’s entire second question period is at 2:40.10–2:43.38, with better sound, in the videotape of the entire 2.8-hour hearing linked here.
